I am a stranger in this world is how I identify myself- a feeling that grows  as well from my lingering  fascination with surrealism,  an awareness of "the other world present perhaps in this one". In my private mythology Photography is unflagging intransigence.  It demands that I extract a seamless   texture from my life apart from what shatters,    exhausts, pollutes and adulterates.  My photography requires  that I live as alert as an antenna, that I  never sleep or forget. Photography is my understanding with the world, my intimacy with people and things, my participation   in what is real and my engagement with what I call  art.
